Introducing a new way to approach mortgages

SITUATION:

In Charlotte, NC, real estate professionals were the principal influencers of the local mortgage market (this in the days before online mortgage loans), and a local bank needed an edge to break into this sophisticated target.

SOLUTION:

We developed a Fast Start mortgage package to help the client turn a mortgage around in days, not weeks.   We created a direct mail campaign to introduce it to real estate professionals.

RESULTS:

The Fast Start program gave the bank instant credibility in a new, challenging market as it saw mortgages increase by 400 percent in six months. The highest praise came from the bank's mortgage loan officers, all of whom were on incentive pay, saying, "This program is a money-maker. Keep it coming!"
