Masterminding a record-setting bank opening

SITUATION:

A South Carolina holding company opened a new bank and wanted to generate a large pool of deposits to fund the holding company's hot loan growth.

SOLUTION:

Apple brought together a team of creative and media experts to develop a targeted direct mail program and media campaign focused exclusively in the bank's home county. We developed the products and pricing; handled all creative - from copy writing to photography to on-site TV production - to develop a three-phase newspaper campaign and TV commercials. We also wrote, produced and distributed the direct mail sent to income-qualified potential customers.

RESULTS:

The bank went from zero to $47 million in deposits in 60 days, setting a record for a South Carolina bank opening campaign.
