Thinking out of the box to send another

SITUATION:

A global franchiser faced budget cuts and the elimination of a popular and expected $80 direct mail gift package for customers. The franchiser's big-city agency said costs couldn't be cut, unless the gift was eliminated.

SOLUTION:

The client asked Apple to review the gift package and to see if costs could be cut.   We cut the production budget in half without reducing the value of the gift.   We also streamlined package tracking efforts by using FedEx.  In previous years, the client had to re-order a lot of gifts that weren't received and weren't "track-able."

RESULTS:

Customers received the high-quality gift they had received in the past, and the client saved money on gift production and shipping.
